Cafeteria
|
- Sit with feet on floor, bottom on bench and facing table
|
- Allow anyone to sit next to you
- Privilege to sit anywhere, unless directed otherwise

- Food stays in lunch area
- Keep all food to self
- Throw away all trash

|
Playground/Recess
|
- Stay within boundaries
- Be aware of activities and games around you
- No play fighting
- Running allowed only on grass and beyond play structure
- Freeze when bell rings
- Walk with purpose to line after whistle
|
- Play fairly
- Include everyone
|
- Leave plants, rocks, insects, amphibians, and sprinkler system alone
- Follow play structure rules
- Eat snacks first at tables, throw away garbage, then play
- Eat appropriate snacks (no candy, seeds, gum)
- Use bathroom
- Drink water

Halls and
Stairwells
|
- Stay to right
- Enter and exit on the right
|
- Hold the door open for the person behind you
- Shut outside doors
|
|
|
Bathrooms
|
- Keep water in sink
- Wash hands
- No standing on toilets/sinks, and no hanging from stall doors
|
|
- Flush toilet after use
- Return to room promptly
- Keep bathrooms clean
|
|
Arrival and
Dismissal
|
- Use sidewalks and crosswalks
- Wait in designated areas
- Walk bikes, scooters and carry skateboards safely
- No playing on playground
|
- Remember that some classes are already/still in session (K)
- No walking through K yard (8am - 3pm)
|
- Arrive on time, learning begins at 8:15
- Report to MPR upon arrival
- Report to cafeteria at 7:45am for breakfast
- Leave promptly at end of the day
